But our dedication doesn’t stop at therapy. We go beyond treatment by helping families connect with community resources that support their child’s development. Our team actively seeks out programs—such as SoonerSuccess, respite services, SSI, and additional therapies or testing—to help families access the care and financial assistance they may need.

One example of our values in action is our Community Closet at our Enid office. Our team regularly gathers clothing, essentials, and resources for families in need. We even take the extra step of collecting clothing sizes for children and their parents so we can provide personalized care packages.

Continuing Education & Certifications
We value lifelong learning and regularly compensate or assist with the cost of specialized continuing education. In the past, we have covered registration fees for in-person CEU events to help our team expand their knowledge and expertise in specialized areas of therapy. We want our clinicians to continue growing in their skills and staying at the forefront of their field.

Leadership & Career Advancement
As our company continues to grow, so do opportunities for leadership roles. We have an organizational board that outlines various roles within the company, and we actively seek to promote from within. Staff members who demonstrate leadership skills, initiative, and a passion for specialized roles have clear pathways for advancement.

✔ Shanna, a COTA, started with us in July 2023 and is now our Clinical Manager, overseeing clinician schedules and ensuring high-quality care.
✔ Jamie began as a part-time contractor, became a full-time employee, and is now our Quality Control Manager, conducting internal chart reviews and keeping staff updated on policies and patient resources.

Goal-Setting & Employee Growth
We want every team member to reach their full potential, which is why we conduct six-month check-ins with all employees. These meetings allow us to review previous goals, track progress, and set new career objectives tailored to each individual’s aspirations. Whether it’s pursuing a certification, specializing in a particular area of therapy, or moving into a leadership role, we support our team in turning their career goals into reality.

Our Mentor Program

Starting a new job can feel overwhelming, but at Gonzales Therapy Services, we believe no one should navigate it alone. That’s why we’ve developed a structured Mentorship Program to support new hires as they transition into our clinic.

Every new hire is paired with a same-discipline mentor—an experienced clinician who will guide them through the onboarding process, introduce them to our company culture, policies, and procedures, and serve as a reliable source of support.

What Our Mentor Program Offers:
✔ Personalized Support – Mentors are the go-to resource for questions about treatment approaches, evaluations, documentation, and job expectations.
✔ Collaboration & Growth – New hires benefit from working alongside experienced clinicians, learning processes that can’t all be covered in a one-day orientation.
✔ Material & Knowledge Sharing – Having a mentor within the same discipline provides opportunities to exchange treatment ideas, share resources, and build clinical confidence.
✔ Structured Check-Ins – We have a mentor checklist and regularly scheduled check-ins to ensure a smooth transition. Meetings start out weekly, then transition to biweekly, providing a structured time for mentees to ask questions, seek feedback, and gain clarity on anything they need.
